Ms. Alana Jackson is from Grand Rapids, MN and is currently attending medical school at the University of Minnesota – Duluth. Before medical school, Alana received a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Iowa State University.   During college she was involved in many clubs and organizations as well as biochemical research. It was during college that she developed a keen interest in mentorship, as it was very instrumental to her own successes. The Biochemistry, Biophysics & Molecular Biology department at Iowa State created a nurturing environment that focused on individual and group mentorship.  As a beneficiary of mentorship, she realized the importance of mentoring young students and continued to do so during college.  P.A.K.E.M.A. presented a perfect opportunity for Alana to continue her passion for mentorship after graduating from college.  Alana became a P.A.K.E.M.A. Ambassador in the fall of 2013, working to develop the Health Education and Mentorship curricula.  She was blessed with the opportunity to implement both curricula in Kenya summer 2014.  She hopes to continue to give back to her community by motivating and supporting students from around the world.  She is grateful to be a member of the P.A.K.E.M.A team, and she is excited to be involved in making the P.A.K.E.M.A vision become a reality.

Mr. Ernesto Kodero is from Kisumu, Kenya is an accountant and CPA . His involvement with Pamoja Kenya Mentorship Alliance (P.A.K.E.M.A) is because of his strong believe that any person can make it irrespective of his or her background provided one has been given a favorable enviroment to prove his or her ability and with the proper guidance of the PMentors. He therefore believes that P.A.K.E.M.A Mentorship is the ultimate HOPE for the hopeless children and youths situated in the remote rural and slum areas.
